CARING FOR YOUR PAINTINGS & LIMITED-EDITION GRAPHICS The Lominago Group uses only high grade mouldings and acid free matting and backing materials for its frames. The frames are custom cut and assembled by trained craftsmen. Because of the finishes on the frames, it is essential that they only be lightly dusted with a soft cloth. Do not use furniture polishes on the moulding. The framed limited edition graphics on paper are covered by Plexiglas. This should never be cleaned with a glass cleaner. There are a number of non-abrasive cleaners specifically designed for plastic and Plexiglas that work very well. Never use any cleaner on canvas artwork. A simple light feather dusting when necessary will do. Keep your paintings away from any walls that are subject to moist conditions. Moisture is the leading contributor to accelerated aging of most fine art products. Paintings should not be hung near open windows or air conditioning vents. Keep all fine art away from direct sunlight. Always store your paintings in climate-controlled environments. CARING FOR YOUR SCULPTURE When handling and displaying sculpture, practice caution because bronze is heavy. When moving the sculpture, always hold it with two hands by the base and solid center of the sculpture and not the appendages. Wear white cotton gloves or a soft cloth to protect the sculpture from fingerprints. Remove any jewelry that might scratch the finish. Place the sculpture on a well supported pedestal or table in a climate-controlled environment. When cleaning is required, do not use any household cleaners. Simply lightly buff the sculpture with a soft dry cloth. Use an artist's brush to dust off detailed areas.
